07 classic vmax build thread

Bump because I spent entirely too much money to fix this thing, hope to have it on the road once everything comes in.
Ordered-
BTR dual .660 valve spring kit
BTR trunion upgrade
ARP head stud kit
Ls9 head gaskets
Morel 5315 lifters
Lifter trays

Hopefully nothing else. We will see as I dig deeper into it

:rofl: if I'm doing a 408 it's definitely not gonna be Texas speed built, far too expensive and there's a lot better engine builders especially within 8 hours of me that I would be willing to go to. 4k for their basic 408 :bawl:

You could also consider a forged piston tms 370...a bit more conservative set up but definitely reliable and cost effective

Been thinking about a 370 also, idk I'll have to look around and see what I can afford. Till I get a new job it's sitting in the shop anyways so I have time. Canceling that order from BTR and gonna fix a few small things on my car to make sure it's reliable since it's all I'll have for a while.
