06 GMC Build - I guess????

Im almost scared to try turning the bolts for the bars, they are SUPER rusty and with my luck, i'll snap a bolt head off or something. Dont get me wrong, Id love to crank, run 285s and be like all the cool kids but then I'd have to re-gear and tune it. To me, if im going to do all of that, i might as well wait until its a little older, SAS the thing with a 44/60, stuff 4.56 in them and run 35s and be happy. But thats just how I think.

:allow:

You know it's getting older every day, may as well start collecting parts now

Thanks.

Next friday I have an appointment to get the back windows tinted. 99% sure im going to do 5% over the back 3. For what its worth, nothing on the shield since its split down the middle.

Exactly, camera will help and I also plan to add some backup/rear work lights eventually this year. Plus lets be honest, I live in a big ass city, its not exactly dark at night around here

No problem ginger, just remember they arent plug-n-play, theres some wiring to be done.

those are the LEDs i keep looking at to get for the rear. i like the rectangular pods better then the round ones.

i put the one in. its not that bad, during the day they blink orange, and at night when the parking lights are on, they blink white.

close enough for me lol

just reverse you're wiring and that should fix it. or try reversing the bulb.

Still pretty set on getting 5% over the 20 tomorrow. I know if nothing else my oldest kid is going to enjoy the darker glass. Going to cash in some cash back points and get those lights off amazon, just means I have to buy a new switch plate now for the console.

Chickened out with doing 5% over. It was DARK. I went with 20% over the stock and Im pretty happy with that. I kinda wish I would have thrown 15% out there just to get it a little bit darker but im happy with it. You cant see into the back of the truck which is what I wanted. kiddo hasnt been in the back yet but its definitely dark enough to not need sunglasses
