01 Sierra Build

Went ahead and bought some 16x10 -38 offset pro comp rims for $300 to hold me off until I can afford AF.

I think so too. Almost makes me want to just stick with these, because they were cheap.

Finally found some cheap 1-3" lift keys for $40. Going to order those tonight and will probably be ordering Upper Ball-joints and an 03+ billet grill in the next few weeks.

temp as in your running them for like a week or 2? they are bald as fuck

thinking the same thing, do like the colors you picked

They still have some tread left... more than it looks like in the pics.

Basically I am going to put these on and park it for the winter. Will probably buy some new 315/75r16 MTZ's next spring, just to have it drive-able and will still plan on getting AF's down the road. No point in buying new tires now, just to sit during the winter...

Thanks

Those are the Cock tread tires

I see you made mention you need cognito ball joints. Call cognito and get the ball joint part number. Do not buy them from cognito, the ones they supply are sewer trash, good for 6000 miles and thats it. Call the parts store and cross reference the number to moog raybestos etc

Really? I seen something about them bending really bad, but never got a chance to read the article. I just figured it was something to do with hardcore off-roading. I will definitely get Moog's then. :shake:

I was planning on getting Moog pit-man arm, idler arm, and lower ball-joints anyway. Works better that way because I can throw all that on the store account and worry about paying for them later. :bishplz:

Should have wheels and lift keys by the 28th... All I need now is 4.88's for the rear, which are still on back-order. I can order Moog front end parts through the shop, so basically as soon as the PC and gears are ordered I am going to start tearing it apart. Hopefully I will have parts back this Tuesday, then all that will have to be done yet is the backup bars and the rear part of the front-box.

Yep, chrome powder.

Thanks, I am contemplating getting 20x12 Silver Fuel Kranks, but I do like these. Might just stick with them... we'll see.
