My motor was hydrolocked in a storm, and the insurance deemed it an "act of god" not at fault, same thing as if a tree falls on your truck is what they explained to me.
Fast forward 2 years, and I seem to have a mysterious comprehensive claim for the same dollar amount on the invoice from the gm dealer.

My dad has hit like 6 or 7 deer completely fucking up 3 front ends and totaling a Ford Windstar one time and hit one but shit got winwind and the Suburban ended up against a tree at 45-50 mph while towing the boat totaling the Burb, boat and trailer, rates never went up because of it.
 
After a week if fighting it. She's on the ground. Hydroboost. Slotted/drilled rotors. Calipers. Pads. Stainless braided lines. Some cleanup under the hood. New wheels.
