On a good note my insurance company did their estimate on my rock chip damage and cut me a check for 3k based off national average. I was quoted 1145 to repair it at the same body shop my insurance company did the inspection at
 
Gonna get a paintable front bumper an have it color matched with air hole for 20" light bar. Gonna try an get the whole driver side done. Have a good scrape on the rear quarter panel from previous owner. So many wanting a straight body. Lol. Jordan is correct.

My motor was hydrolocked in a storm, and the insurance deemed it an "act of god" not at fault, same thing as if a tree falls on your truck is what they explained to me.
Fast forward 2 years, and I seem to have a mysterious comprehensive claim for the same dollar amount on the invoice from the gm dealer.
 
I hope not. I'd raise hell. This is first claim ivr ever made. Never had a vehicle worth claiming stuff like this on. Who are you insured with

I'd bet a hard earned paycheck they are going to get you somewhere. Never does insurance give you money in a claim, and your rates not go up atall. Renewal time, wach out
