yeah, because they are put on better, and locally! Also, the last meet we had, was the weekend I bought my car and had to spend $1k on new tires that didn't come in until saturday at 1pm, my car wasn't ready until 5:30, and I had zero desire to drive my truck all the way to Shreveport. Have one in Dallas and I'll go, or pay for my hotel for Shreveport and I'll come.

DFW used to have mini-meets, but then dudes started always backing out, and then I just gave up trying. Noe and Juan hit me up for a mini again. But that's it, no one else ever wants to do shit. The G8 guys just pick a date, a place, and we go if we can. We will be doing them every month from now on.

I may be coming to that Oct. meet though. Just have to see how things go. I have a family reunion the week before, and going on vacation a month later.
 
I caught a lot of flack from friends about buying a little ford ranger. But its really made me realize that true, honest to the core car guys don't judge a build based on its price tag. If you can't see the vision in any body style, brand, or window stick your not a real car guy. nd do me a favour and loose my fucking number.

Tony shipped my DJM kit and hopefully next week it'll be dropped
