Yeah, I had some of the "slim digital" ballasts that made my 5K bulbs look about the same color as Geoff's. Switched to full size Morimoto ballasts and they are pure white now. I think the slims I have only put out 25w instead of 35w like they are supposed to. I have them on some 3k bulbs now and they are REALLY yellow now. :rofl:

They work great for the projector fogs I have though.

One of my buddies has run several several Xentec kits and has had very few issues. I bought 2 kits back to back and neither one worked. DDM used to be good, had some good luck with them early on but now their quality is ehhh. VVME is where it's at IMO
 
It sucks. I wanted 6000k but the 20 dollar kit I got showed like this. Hate that it's thst blue. Gotta get a better retro from my local guy.
 
This is my other bulbs when v-led had cheaper kits back when. Perfect color imo drivers side is current one and passenger side is the better old color. I'll probably go back to stock bulbs.
