It's been sitting for a while at our house, with intentions of working on it. Never really did anything til now. My dad blew the timing belt on it and bent the valves, so we're looking into either a reman motor or rebuilding it. Interior needs to be gutted, and then some bodywork and paint. And I'll make sure it gets a little bit closer to the ground as well. All in all it'll be a fun project.

I'd love to, but we're trying to keep costs down on this one. He's gonna go all out on his '59 Chevy pickup, and I'll make sure that gets an lsx for sure :naughty:

:okay: my dad actually bought an 89(i think) 300 a couple of years ago to do a Ls swap in but decided not to and sold it lol

Don't get me wrong, I want to do it. I told my dad to take my 4.8 and swap it in, then drop a 6.0 in mine  he chuckled, which means it is a possibility. But we both lack the play money to do it so it won't happen.

no their 24's but they do look small in that pic i think its cuz the tires are stretched and the front hasnt settled yet maybe i duno

No, do not powdercoat a set of billets. Completely ruins the whole purpose of getting billets.

I agree, if anything get the rears rehooped and some bigger tires

Completely true

I know, I know, I know but they would still look amazing and it would defiently look different. If I wasn't happy with them and wanted black wheels why not?

Anyways decided to put the box I got in the back next to gate. It wouldnt fit next to cab because its to wide and hit fender wells. I washed and waxed it today, thing is extremely nice did not know that it was painted silver from the factory with a clearcoat since it was so dirty.

Need to figure out how I'm going to mount it cause I want it to be removable if I need the whole bed for something... would put a led strip in it if it wasn't going to be removable.

Not as bad as I pictured when you said at the back..guess it would work out good if you don't load a lot of shit in your bed

That's the problem I get a 1,300-1,400 lbs of feed in my bed every few weeks. But we have other vehicles I can use so I just might. Well see soon....
