Got the front end rebuild basically buttoned up. Gotta put the sway bar back on, hit all the zerks with some grease and align it. Then gotta figure out what I’ve gotta do to correct my pinion angle

just measure your trans angle, then your pinion angle, then shim the rear until they are the same.
I haven’t really researched it much and somehow have never had to deal with it before even with all my lowering/lifting of vehicles lol.
Do you take your measurements at the u-joint caps for the driveshaft or do you go off the snout of the diff and the tail shaft of the trans? This is basically what I’ve got going on

You want them opposite but equal.
IE - 6* trans +6* rear, or whatever your angle ends up being

That picture simplifies it a whole lot. Thanks. I do know you want the rear end pointed down in relation to everything else and mine is flat/up a little. I’ve got a annoying rotational vibration from 45+ that never goes away. Guess I’ll get some shims and start experimenting

Could be. This was a long bed that they cut down before I bought it. It’s supposedly an original short bed shaft, but if the shims don’t fix it, I’ll go have the shaft balanced
