That sucks, I have an eclipse avn5500 right now but I want somethin different so I'm gonna put it in my dads truck and buy something else like pioneer 4300/4400

Pioneer ftw.

For me it was either the 4300 ($399) or the 2300 ($299).

2300 was decent but I didn't like that the USB was in the front. I didnt want my white ipod chord coming from the front of the unit. Also the screen was much smaller.

Only thing im worried about with the 4300 is that the whole screen kinda slides out/down to eject the cd and im scared that the motor for that is gonna break. Hopefully it doesnt.

Yea that's how my eclipse is and its an 09 model and everything works flawless, I bought it used for $250 original retail at a local audio shop was like $1999..its a 6.5" I'm wanting at least 7" now

Yea lol it has built in nav and everything, the Damn thing weighs like 7lbs and barely fits in my dash

That was the only thing I didn't really like about the 4300. You have to buy and add all the features.

But I had royally fucked my factory radio up with a bottle of sprite and needed an aftermarket. I wanted a DD so I wouldn't have the gay pouch under the SD so it serves its purpose lol.

Yea I never use the nav and if i need it my phone has it, ill probably wind up going with the 4300 unless i find a really good deal on something else
