Your vehicles as they sit now!

And what exactly is the aiming protocol for fogs? The truck didn't come with them so I have no factory point of reference. When I walk back about 200ft, the fog beam matches with the low beam. Anything closer and they're two separate beams.

I would think as far as you want to be able to see through fog? I don't know I don't have fogs :okay:

I would aim them down a tad bit more just to be sure. Fogs are really only meant to be used to see directly in front of you during extremely foggy conditions. Higher isn't better with them.

You really only want to be able to see maybe 50 ft or so out from the front of the truck, maybe not even that. It should be something like, with only fogs on you can drive around at like 25mph and be comfortable but you can't see far enough to do 70. It's hard to explain but there's a "look" from the drivers seat for the output that I shoot for

Roger that. Will adjust them tomorrow. Getting to the adjuster requires removing shit that I don't feel like taking off again tonight lol.

Bro it is a pain in the dick to do anything on this damn truck.

Although I did notice that my oil pan gasket is leaking. 17k miles on the damn thing. Been in for 4 recalls. And now it's leaking. Thumbs up, GM. Thumbs up.

It was irritating me that they weren't aimed so I ran out and adjusted them. This is the finished product. I'm content. The cutoff was previously at the impalas mirror lol. I can see a good 80ft with them.

Oh it's been a treat. When my AC is on recirculation, I get a faint whistle from my cabin filter. When i ride with the windows down, i get a whistle from somewhere. There's a tab or something lose in my airbag so I get a good little rattle from my steering wheel when driving off road. The oil pan gasket. They had to replace my hood latch and apparently lost a nut in my hood. I get to hear it go rattling down my hood when I open it. My radio has froze 3 times. Not a big deal except my HVAC controls run through my radio so when it freezes, I can't adjust anything. Have to shut the truck off for 30 seconds. The list goes on.

I'm overall extremely happy with the truck but it's starting to push it's luck lol. Something told me to wait until the Colorado's second year and buy one this year, but nope. I had to be impatient.

Goddamn. Fuck that shit, my shit's 10 years old and has 104k miles and only the glove box latch rattles a little
