Your vehicles as they sit now!

so much this....i had to take off the skid plate on my tank...lawd was it foked. the front skid under/in front of the engine is hanging on for dear life too. entire frame and LCAs are gouged....love it :proud:

I went through 2 z71 skid plates and the last one came off going down the road, was holding on by 2 bolts and laying on the ground. Soo loud lol. All of my crossmembers have chunks missing from the bottom side where they have scraped so much and I always find chunks of speed bumps hanging on

lower lip of my hitch is ground down a lot too...idk how u guys w/o oba do it. i air up/down my helpers all the time.
How low are you in the back? That's probably my next investment haha, unclear on how they work though do you guys usually have onboard tanks/ compressor? Or is it like an air em up at your house / gas station ?

im 4/6 but with what i carry in the bed...im REAL close to 7 w/o any air. When I fist got my McG helpers, i just aired them up at home/gas station n would leave em as is...usually 8lbs or so. now with a compressor, tank, valves, switches, i can adjust on the fly while driving.

helper kits come with air line, a T fitting to join both bags and a schrader valve

Hmm mind if I ask how much your compressor/ tank set up ran you? I'm 8 out back lol

ur 8 cuz u were 4x4...probably same as me right now...lil taller.

compressor was 150
tank/air horns 150
valve manifold 70
air valve 30
wiring/switches 50
air gauge 100
gauge pod 30

about 600 with other lil stuff that ive added (train horn air valve, valve and air chuck for air hose connection)

Thanks man very helpful, may be a ways down the road lol, and I've got a flip and two inch shackles so by 4wd standards I'm 10 because I pulled the blocks, Haha but I'm 8 by regular measurements no?

Mine was too until I took it off. That bish drug everywhere. I've always said I'm gonna do legit oba but I bought a cheap little hf compressor (wired it to a switch) when I first did my helpers 2.5 years ago and it's still doing good lol. Once I redo these notches and fix the frame I'm gonna redo my helpers and probably mount them above the axle. Ideally something like this. but we'll see. Lol.

any reason in particular u want over axle? from what i remember, that can cause a bumpy/bouncy ride if bags are big enough.

those hF compressors are supposed to be good stuff, wanna pick one up for the wifes car. and :datass: seamless tanks

If you do mount 2" square tubing on the top of the frame or use an AVS notch so you will have more travel imo.

No real reason lol. Was just a thought right now. I'll look into it more when I get ready to do it. Dfw seamless tank. Dnw price tag.

Gonna do custom square tube notches. 2x4x.025" and make em as deep as I can.
