Tukn4's new pictures

:nice:

Need vids when it's done getting the cam and tune

Will do. Ups dropped of the cam yesterday. I'm still working on getting the garage built. Hopefully have the doors in it in the next 2 weeks. Then I will be able to get some real work done.

Here's where the truck sits as of now

I like the one comment on IG a few days ago:

What kit are you running?

 obviously the guy doesn't know you very well Brett.

Since I was going to order jeebus joints anyway, I priced a set of arms and was surprised about the price so I went ahead and ordered them from MMW. Thought it would save me sometime but that isn't the case. evidently the Uniball lowers I made added a lot more advantage than I thought. I bolted everything up yesterday and did a full cycle on the suspension and I had less than 1* camber change throughout the entire travel.

my old setup had the about 2.5* throughout the entire travel and actually went .5* positive at the most.

with the new suspension, I anticipated close to the same cycle so that's what I had MMW make the uppers to. Well I was surprised. So now I have to modify the arms to make them shorter by cutting off the mounting bushings and making an entire new leg on both arms. so it is going to more work than doing it myself in the first place. Wasn't their fault, I just didn't anticipate such a big improvement.

Brett, im confused....

Did we make something wrong on your arms? or are they okay?

Let me know if there is an issue, i thought we had built them to spec for ya on this. If there is an issue, i will be happy to take care of this for ya.

^ That's awesome customer service :imo:

This all the way.

I'm still confused on what is exactly going on here.

Wouldn't you want less camber through duration?

Edit:
So from what I can read, you had MMW make upper arms to your specs, but your camber duration is different from what you anticipated so the upper arms need to be modified?

it's nothing you did wrong. You built just as I asked. I just didn't have anyway to check measurements before ordering since I hadn't made my lowers yet. so I went with what my old arms were "suppose" to be. I had a set of lowers that were supposedly 1" shorter than stock. My upper tabs are made for the lowers I had.

Well I built new lowers and that I know are 1" shorter than stock and when I bolted everything up and cycled the suspension, with the cams adjusted in all the way, it never got out of positive.

My camber curve only changes 1* throughout travel and at the least amount it is 1.4* positive. the only explanation I have is that the lowers I had before were not actually 1" shorter, but I can't measure them to confirm that.

You have no worries on your end. If I was using the same lowers as before they would have worked great. I should have just checked myself before ordering but that's why I contacted you about the new caps and why I'm having to powder coat them again.

Ahhh, understood. Okay, i just wanted to make sure we had them right for you.

I have your new parts in the system as of the days end, i will ship them ASAP.

everything was dropped off at the powder coaters yesterday. got my shocks in yesterday for the front and they were not what I ordered. I ordered both eyelet ends and they sent stud and eyelet combo. I tried to get them changed out but that's the only way they offer that size and stroke. so I ordered a set of conversion caps to make them eyelets

Should be installing everything this weekend for good

Dude that sucks... what shocks did you end up with?

it's not that big of a deal. I was originally going to run a set of bilsteins but theyre just too big OD on the body and too long. I bought a set of pro comps

I know pictures are not what to go by, but read the item over view it says both eyelet. these dimension are exactly what I need. anything else close to this size with eyelets has a minimum body size of 2" and are a lot higher priced.

Should be installing everything Saturday hopefully. Waiting on my lower arm bushings
