Lower the brackets or get hd brackets so you can lower the bumper to fit the bigger cap

So just loosing the bolts n lowering the bumper? Or is there cutting and welding involved?

Pretty sure you either have to replace with hd brackets or possibly cut and lower the stock ones..not sure about that

Cut and lower frame horns. I'm going to weld a bar from frame horn to frame horn. Cut them off and lower them down and re weld that way everything says level. It's basically like Z'ing the frame.

I'm also going to keep about a fingers gap in between the top of the cap and the fender. I HATE seeing a bumper raised up to touch the fender. Looks like shit was wrecked and not fixed correct.
