SDM Build Thread

there is a few different front kits i could buy. But they're stupid expensive and i'd still need new coilovers, heim steering, CV shafts and a ton of other gusseting to make sure its safe as can be. Its just not worth it for what i do.

Imo this setup is fine. Not like you're hucking it over dunes every day. Pisbro pics came out great btw.

I never realized you had that much suspension work into this. How does it ride and handle in pismo?

I was in a same generation tundra with mid travel 2wd front and I can't say it was much smoother than my torsion bars in pismo

It glides through most off-road trips I've gone on. Washboard roads feel like standard streets. Pismo was really smooth minus the rear but that's being fixed soon. I really enjoy driving it off-road. Eddie rode with me too in Big Bear and it performed really good I'd say.

The v8 definitely helps with the torque and power to get over the taller dunes or steeper inclines over the other v6s that came with these.

Lol it's all good, I switched from Nikon to Canon

If you get a Nikon, the 35mm 1.8 should be your first investment over the kit lens.... :hng: such a bamf lens for cheap.
