SCG Pro Line Testing/Review

I just received a sample of the Extreme Suds today (coincidentally I just ordered some earlier this morning) and while opening it to smell it, I accidentally tipped it too far and spilled out a drop. I put it in the cup and filled it with water with my sink sprayer. This was just for fun as a test. There is literally less soap in there to smear on the face of a quarter.

It's been sitting now for over 15 mins and still looks like the second picture. I can't wait for my cannon to arrive so I can clean all the vehicles!
 
Got to use the interior quick detailer today. Very impressed, no slimy residue, cleaned very well and smelled good too. Also used the glass cleaner and it worked great too. All and all was very happy with the products. Will definitely be buying more of their stuff and am sure I won't be disappointed
 

3 weeks in 115* heat and daily driving. I'd say that pretty impressive beading from a dressing i apply very lightly.

I need something that will hold up on the fusion. Gravel drive way makes any tire dressing look like crap after a rain
 
yeah i hardly use any water, just enough for it to squirt outta sprayer head. just use it for carlisle show anyway so it sits in the sun and bakes. lord knows that weekend i rub on the truck more than i do all year lol.

Not only can you, but they are designed to be diluted - I call it the "dilute to suit" approach. Both the ETC and the TDC are creams that can be used right out of the bottle or diluted to make a consistency or a sheen you prefer. On the tire dressing, right out of the bottle it looks nice and dark with a good level of gloss, but isn't a silicone laden mess of a spray that makes your tires look like you put motor oil and glitter on them.

Go 1:1 with water and its a nice low gloss look, but still very nicely dressed and durable... go 2:1 and you get something similar to most water based vinyl rubber and trim products. At around 6:1 it makes a good spray on dressing for matte wheels too.

Another method to play with for guys with more aggressive sidewalls... do a full strength cream application of TDC on your tires. Use a paint brush or foam brush to get it evenly into all the hard to reach parts. Then mix up a 1:1 batch and just do a quick reapply after every wash to 'refresh' the look quickly and easily.

As Sam's video shows - the stuff shoots water off the surface even after a little time on the wheel so it holds up well.

i should probably just watch the videos again that dylan posted instead of asking :facepalm:

like learning spanish from switching one product to the next for different application procedures, curing times, mixes, etc.
