I thought dip was plating. Chrome/gold/bronze whatever
For chrome plating they dip it into a vat of chrome and then apply current.

I've had an 08, 11, and 13. The 08 was a piece of shit from the day I bought it, but the 11 and 13 were/are great trucks
 
I have an 07 and 11. Not as nice as my 04 but not the rattling death traps people describe them to be :jester:

You've got some weird ass terminology lol. Dip is either hydro or plasti dip. Plating is what you're referring to

Nnbs Sierra was the best looking model for the 07-13. The proportions on the nnbs Tahoe/Yukon are sex. Lil sexy tanks rolling down the road
The 14+ SUVs look like rectangle wheelbarrows.

nnbs interior is shit. Guess they spent all their time on that for the 14's+.

Alol, we can thank the NNBS for starting the square wheel well phase. The NNBS also don't have or appear to have any rocker panels which are a result of the doors being outset from the cab if we're on the topic of "weird as fuck"

The 14+ functionality and quality surpasses the NNBS in every department e.g. the felt in the wheel wells for sound deadening, rock guard on the bottom is hardly noticeable and will hold up a hell of a lot longer than paper thin paint on the NNBS, the inset door design is probably the biggest improvement and the fact the 14+ have real bumpers compared to the NNBS. Yes, appearance has some down falls, but really. The entire industry is changing. In 8 years they will be highly sought after. Unlike the NNBS or anything else GM made from 2007-2012

Best looking truck on the market right now is Dodge hands down. Won't entertain the idea of the new Fords, a beer can on wheels that doesn't look that great and has the worst engine line-up of life shouldn't appeal to anyone in their right mind. Also, go drive one. Extremely noisy and terrible ride quality.

Hated my mine once I finally realized how much better my NBS was. Sold NNBS, back in another NBS.

Cub is right. Gm is falling further and further behind. Ford is Killin it Dfw a new f150. And RAM is improving big time. Wonder what the new body ram trucks will look like, not that I'll be interested because they will have a fiat diesel in them, not cummins.
 
GM sales are up big time, outsold Ferd in 2015 and dominated Ram, Toyota, etc.(Truck-wise)
