Well, just got a call from my parents that I had hoped wouldn't come. My 14 year old female pit, Lucky, had to be put down today. She was so so this past week, and today was it. My mom said she wasn't eating or drinking at all and her stool was very dark. She said she just looked at her like she knew it was her time. She wasn't crying or in any visible pain, but her body was just shutting down. It hit me so hard because I am going home Friday morning, less than 40 hours from now. I wanted to just see her again before she went. It sucks, we got her when I was 7 and my brother was 5 and she grew up with us. Best dog I'll ever have.
