Northwest 4x4 "Prerunner" Build

I'm pretty excited. The clutch fan has been basically just free spinning so last time we were at the dunes I had to stop a bunch of times to let it cool down. It'll be a nice piece of mind let alone how much it will clean up the engine bay.

I'm sure a nice little power boost too with the weight and drag off the motor.

Updates will be slow, we should be moving into our new house in a couple weeks. Might just start a build thread for that lol, will be putting up a horse pasture and hopefully a shop in the spring.

I have been very happy with the efans, I think the 34" radiator really made a difference. Engine temp has been consistently a touch lower and the fans really don't even come on that often. The engine did feel a bit more snappy from low rpm if I stabbed the throttle, but that could be the placebo effect haha. I will have to take the truck out to the dunes again in warmer weather to get more of a direct comparison for really testing it's cooling capabilities.

But I did find some pics from last year I dont think I posted.

Thanks guys. Just talked to my aunt(also realtor) yesterday and everything is looking good for the house, so should be moving the 17th or 18th depending on how fast we can close the sale of our current house and move the funds to close on the new house.

Sam are you bringing the 4runner up? And when? The moses lake dunes will be pretty good in 2-3 months. Not too hot then and sand should be pretty firm still.

Yeah I'll be bringing the runner when we go. Would be mid summer.

Nice. Dunes will be hot if we were to go out there though haha. As long as you got power to 4 wheels you'll be good.

Right on! Haha. I thought I was gonna have to put up some airborn shots this year to have a chance.

Started on adding a receiver to the truck. I wanted to tie it into the bumper tight. Still have to plate the end of the tube so it can also bolt to the cross member on the frame. Clean up the welds and then powder coat. It's light duty but I don't plan on towing anything much bigger than a 2 place stand up jet ski trailer.

Been super busy moving into the new house and landscaping. But did finish the bumper. Found out my buddies welder was working like shit so had to grid out a bunch of weld and take it into work and lay the heat to it on my breaks. Came out awesome and worked great for towing jetskis all summer. Wife is 6 mo pregnant now and found out our future son has CPAM. Basically a mass that will have to be removed from his chest after birth. So for now that mean she has to see the specialist once a week for close monitoring 2 1/2 hrs away and we will have to relocate over there about 2 weeks before due date so she can have the baby over there in case any emergencies arise. So that meant had to get her a better commuter car so we ended up selling our 05 mini cooper and 10' crew cab and got a 15' outback for her to commute in and I found a good condition 06 crew cab. And the prerunner will hopefully just sit for winter.

Crew looks clean. Sorry to hear about the little one, its amazing what doctors can take care of. Also don't worry about holding him to much, one day he won't want to be held anymore so take advantage of it while you can.
