Sick truck man.. minus the engine stuff I've been wanting to do the same stuff to my 99 GMC dd..

He did it like that to match the front. Upper pad is white to match bumper Cap and lower pad is black to match valance.

Buddy of mine built this truck a few years ago, and decided it was taking up to much space in his driveway. So we made a deal and I got a neat little truck outta it. First time buying something already done, nice not to waste all my $$$ for once lol

Truck is really cool looking, except for the riveted panels in the rear fender. I like the look of the riveted dash though, probably took him longer to drill all the holes and line that up than welding it together would have.
I would repair the outside properly, body work it and throw on a quick paint job though

I really dig the bare metal look with the riveted on panels. if it was body worked and painted it'd look like every other bagged s10 blazer, with the dash being the only thing special about it. I'd keep it how it is, just keep it rubbed down with some type of oil so it doesn't rust holes through it. I bet it grabs everyone's attention driving it around town, and moms and stuck up fucks won't look you in the eye when you get out of it.

IT has clear coat on it.

Definitely not painting it.

I bought this truck for less then my brakes where on my CCSB, thats why I got it. absoletely hilarious to drive, and very well built.

Im doing a 2nd gen Sonoma Front end on it. Custom vinyl wrap graphic on front bumper to emulate rust
