looks like behind the seat, Bohall tried to spec out a box for this this under the seat, he said it was a no go

Will it fit in le back w no problem? I did this to mine I saw it on gmfs so I gave it a try just to have more space .

looks like a new hole was made on the bracket to move seat forward a hair

Yes a new hole I got couple inches more for box & sub to fit better.

Get two passenger side seat bottoms and it leaves you with about 12-14" of space to build a console box for the back seat.
