would need to expand one of the pipes to slip over the other...

this is why i buy clamp on tips with a small tack weld thats easy to break if i want to re-adjust

Nah. Just butt them together, those clamps seal really good and it wont move, thats the only thing holding my tip on.

Duplicolor clear can cause your problem. It can change the tint of your color.

Well I have to repaint everything anyways because I fucking used the wrong paint. fucking retarded ass oreilly employees :rage: especially fgt ryan

I told bromexi to clamp them on whe I had them done but he just welded the fuck out of them to make sure they could never be reused. That's what I get for going to janky ass shops. :roflpow:

Using too fast of an arm movement shouldn't cause burn through on a DA. The slower you go and the more pressure used = more heat and higher possibilities for burn through.

no, I had the polisher going to fast.

got the candied tail lights done today. Fucking cracks are still there but whatever.
Also realized I got the wrong paint so it looks like I'm repainting everything. :ayfkm:

left is the correct one. right is what I have on the valance and rear plastics. the correct paint is a bit darker which is what I was thinking what the paint should be. gonna spray a test piece tomorrow and see if it's closer to the truck's og paint. if so, I'll redo what I need to. :sigh:

Finally got my visors done. Still need to be sewn around the clips and pass side is getting redone but I'm glad to have them back on even though I never used them lolol

Hb done. Me fucking gusta. Stops on a dime. Biggest hold ups was trying to get the booster unbolted/bolted and the pedal, drilling a hole for the offest bolt ( I should have made a template of the bolt pattern on the hydraulic booster and used it to drill the offset hole but instead I just kinda guessed and had to keep trimming the side of the hole) and trying to swap the ps pump-booster hose without removing the pump. Also, I got the wrong hoses when I bought them used. (Guy brought me the hoses between the gearbox and cooler.) Anyway, I texted him and he wouldn't meet up with me tonight so I could get the right ones and he kept making bullshit excuses and I need my truck tomorrow so I said fuck it and bought new hoses ($65 later :okay: ) Ps pump is kinda whining now so I might need to replace it too. Also. There's a clunking/popping noise when I turn. Would this be the intermediate shaft? It's gone from not very noticeable to unmistakable within a day and I hope it will be okay for a few more days at least.

Less than $20 per roll

Yessir that'd be it

I'm definitely no expert on ac duct insulation nor sound deadening. All I can tell you is what I've heard. The two materials are quite similar and serve the same purpose. The amount/thickness you apply will determine your results. I plan on adding at least one more layer on thr back wall and roof and doing 2 layers on the doors as well as 3 layers on the floor.

Just bought some of the Frost King insulation to put in my truck when I do the system. How'd you like it and did you ever put more layers on? I'm just wondering if I should buy more and double up in certain areas or if one layer will be plenty to quieten the road noise and keep things from vibrating much
