honestly if my boss buys me a truck at the end of summer i might sell this and start an actual little diesel race truck regular cab long box 4x4 and strip the interior and just cut stuff i dont need then a s472sxe duel pumps and 100% over injectors it should be good for low 11's high 10's
like the truck will be paid for monthly on 3 year payments by my boss but it will be in my name and i will take it with when i leave the company at any time but if i leave before 3 years i will take over payments.
its a small company for now but we are growing like crazy and being second in command and running a crew of guys gets you some good benefits.
my boss also goes to my church and my best friends is his little brother.
decided i wanted to know my drive pressure so did some research on how to get it to read properly.
made a copper 1/4" coil to dissipate heat before it goes into a 1/8th nylon tube and then that runs to my mechanical gauge in the cab.
i thought my copper part was cool so that the picture.
tapped into passenger side manifold.
need to get a check valve in there yet because the needle bounces a lot.
also i am see a 2:1 ratio drive-pressure to boost. like 40lbs of boost is 80lbs of drive pressure. this isn't great news as it is quite hard on the motor.
i might ask kory at ppei if he can do anything about it when i get it re-tuned for injectors.

was going to just go wash my truck but figured why not dry get rid of some of the massive runs in the paint before i wash it.
used some 2000 grit sand paper and a fucking headlight restoration buffer with some turtle wax scratch remover.
i have no clue what i am doing and paint is screwed anyway so i gave it a shot with pretty good results.

i wouldn't count on the fact that he goes to your church or you're friends with his little brother or whatever, plan for the worst case. if you sold it, had a full "race" vehicle, and then something happens and you don't end up with the truck? then you're shit out of luck
can always use race truck for work lol, but dont worry i am not gonna put my self in a jam i always have a safety net
