well not anymore injectors evened out to like mad +1.5 after adding atf fluid.

now its just making a hissing injector noise might be injector hold down.
 
well injectors are all over taking them out and sending them to get tested at BD diesel.

did pick up 4 285/50/20 nitto 420's for 180 bucks so those went on....now i have to make it fast and low to make use of the tires.


 
i think i am the luckiest SOB right now.

so i ended up starting to take apart the #3 injector that was bad.

then i noticed it had a black build up of some sort spilled out of the top of the injector.

end up that the hold down bolt had backed off a little and the crush washer had slowely worn away a little making a big leak in the head basically.

so i went to BD to pick up a new crush washer and o-ring for $10 bucks guy said dont worry about it.

installed the parts no more weird injector noise and all my injectors are at around + or -1 which is extremely good and #7 injector is at +2 which is still great.
 
installed my fass 150 lift pump i couldn't get it to mount higher so now im cool.....

any way truck runs smoother... hopefully that means it will make more power....well see when i put it on the dyno.

took rear blocks out ordered 3" shackles.

need some factory torsion keys or 2500hd lowering keys.

 
okay so went on the dyno ran the truck nice and hot 1750 egt's :uhohshrug:

any way truck put down 470hp and 1100tq.

i am happy with that.

and did some hooligan shit afterward

some cool news, i filled out a sponsorship form for BD diesel not expecting much but i got excepted to the race team.
so its time for a built trans and some more air somehow.
also just picked up caltracs

tie rods are expensive. i think the way i will have it set up it will be fine.

as long as you have no movement in the steering using the dhd brace the tires wont toe in so there wont be enough pressure on the tie rods for them to break.

if i am wrong ill know soon enough.

kinda want a billet s472 and be one of the few stock bottom end trucks running 11's.....but well see where the sponsorship goes.
 
soooo truck finally got some work done.

got caltracs and 3" drop shackles installed, also bought some drop keys from green so those when on and tie rod sleeves.

this is how it sits with the keys all the way up.

might decide to take out overload leaf so it has less rake.
