I have regular oem type tyc and they are great, had a problem for a few months with fogging and bulb seating but that is just because I'm special. Im auctually kinda glad this is a slow moving upgrade. Because there is more involved with this than just parking lights. I'd I got the clears I would have to get at least two sets of amber or switchback LEDs and the proper relay to accommodate them. That turns this upgrade into like a $100 mod :nono:

Negatory, switchbacks do not require relays, only $5.00 resistors.

What this flasher mod? I was going to get a flasher that was specifically made for led use

Cornell had a how to on it. You need to break one of the contact pins on the flasher, I'll see if I can find it.

Found it.

Modifying the stock relay:

Remove 2 7mm screws from bottom of panel.

I "rock" module back and forth to get it out or it can be a pain

Apart: I use the paint can opener in the picture to open the module up... its easier than a screwdriver.

Figured those pictures would help people. I use a tweezers to knick the little leg off.

Look at the last pic the bottom left of the flasher board there is a small black square with 8 terminals coming out of it. You need to clip the one on the top, second from the left.

I've done it on my 99 and on my 06 and both have worked with leds fine.
