Honestly wasn't a big fan of the scoop. I'd rather see a nice FMIC setup and a clean hood line :imo:
the hood scoop is still on the new sti's. and im pretty sure they're using the same motor from the 2014 sti with a different tune or something. I know the new wrx use a brand new motor. I got to imagine the scoop is still functional for the intercooler.

Yeah new Sti still use the same motor as the 14 just a different tune. There's been a lot I discussion about the 13s and 14s possibly having bad tunes from the factory. They still have the scoop, I've never heard anything about them not having one. The new wrx motor it's pretty interesting. I'll be curious to see what kind of power the end up making. I love driving my brothers 14 sti, it's a blast. I think the sti brz will be neat too
they will stop production begining of 2015 and let whatever they have sell and be done with them.
