Hulknasty's 2006 lbz duramax build

Thats the direction Im leaning, I like how beefy the rare parts rods look. Would be cheaper to just do the hd ones anyway vs sleeves and new tie rods. Also looking at getting an S&B intake. I know it isnt 100% necessary at my power level but my air filter needs replaced and stock air box is cracked so fk it.

Only issue would be if your drive shaft exploded lol and I attached a pic of the rare parts. Looks like they belong there compared to stock.... Just food for thought if you do get them, keep the stock ones in the truck, that way if anything were to happen you have a spare. Even if it's just put on enough to keep the wheel from turning lol... Only know because my buddy's broke at the track and it was a mother fucker getting it off the track and then on the roll back.... He didn't have rare parts I forget what they were.

Ordered an s&b kit yesterday. Should be in monday. Wanting to do built ally and max the stock turbo out. Idk if id go much past that

Got the bilstein stabilizer installed today. Was a pita to get the stud out of the center link but a pickle fork won the battle

I've debated taking my HD back to a leveled, 20/33 setup like this. Just to change it up. But, I don't know if my ECLB can pull off "the look" like ECSBs and CCSBs can...?!? Too long.... :shrug:

Picked up new moog pitman and idler arms this afternoon. Got everything installed after alot of cussing. Started to remember why I cut ifs off on my 95 lmao. She tighter than a nuns c*** now though! Still need to install the rare parts tie rods
