What kind of pressure washer do you use? I read somewhere that if its too powerful of one like a gas one or something that it could damage your paint, no idea if thats true or not

I'd have to look to get the exact specs man. I've seen people do that. Mine is gas, I just don't use a high pressure nozzle or get the nozzle too close to the paint.

I used about 4oz or so of soap and filled the rest of the thing with water.

Greg, that is a good deal in my opinion. I love the handle and all on mine and just quick switching back and forth.

Isn't the handle already on the power washer? Couldn't you just take the long wand off le washer, and only get a quick Connect to attach gun - to stock washer handle?

Instead of having a separate $20 handle for the tank? Is that making sense?

Nah, you're making sense. Most likely you probably could. This was trail and error works great for me and was just one of many ways to make/get one. Definitely open for other ways to be discussed in here to help others thinking about getting a foam cannon.

Gotcha :shake: if I decide I really really want one then I'll guy shine supply deal and work my stock handle with it

I have foam gun now, but the suds are almost worthless

Do want cannon, but the driveway is gravel, so washing truck would just make a bigger mess

I like the idea of swapping handles instead of having it hanging off the end of a 3 foot pipe. I run the risk of melting mine if I put it back in the holster, and laying on the ground makes a mess. Definitely doing this Saturday.

Haha, thanks! Gun turned out alright, will be interesting to see what kind of foam it put out. Currently have this one..

I'm hoping this new one with the power washer put my old one to shame.

I have this ole girl as well. Its a lot better than a bucket but really doesnt foam. Chris how much soap you normally add compared to water? I normally just dump some in and add lukewarm water and it is meh.

Pretty much why I did it as well, other way works just fine for most but didn't really want it at the end like you said. Not necessary to have a separate one like I did but it is nice.

For sure, much better than just a bucket and hose but like you said it doesn't foam near like a cannon. Most of the time when I still use it I do just like you and just dump a decent amount in there and add lukewarm water and go. When I first got it I'd get some of the cheaper meguiars soap and what not when I'd catch it on sale and fill the thing up about 1/4 to 1/2 the way up with straight soap and it definitely had more suds  Then I realized that wasn't the way to do it :okay: lol

I was going to get this, but after the $16 for shipping, its too much. $76....

They are $53.94 on ebay now. I called MTM to see if I could buy the valves and try to piece one together, but they don't make them separately. :crossarms: Birthday is next month so we're going to look at a sears power washer tonight and I might get this off ebay. Cheapese MTM I could find was 65.

I am thinking about getting one from Chemical Guys. They have MTM and Torq. They seam to work well. Just not sure I want to spent $100

Santa is bringing me one of these! Will have so much more time for other activities!
