Did it come with a wiring diagram of the switch?

No it didnt, the instructions say white=top or open direction , black = ground, and green = 12v switched

Obviously there is no green but yellow

Yellow=12v

Any three prong switch will work.

I was wondering if since its working a motor (the cut out) that if a on/off switch, when in the on position, will it continuously try and open and burn up the cut out motor?

Yes, you need a momentary switch, not just a toggle. A toggle will kill the motor because it provides constant power. Think of it like w window switch, when you let off it cuts the power and the window stops. Same with the cutout.

I gotcha. You said any 3 prong. The switch it comes with has 4 ports...

One to open
One to close
One for 12v in
One for ground

A three prong two way momentory switch it should work also.

Not as horrible as I thought it would look.

Dont mind the wires hanging down under the dash. Thays the old alarm system that I spend forever ripping out
