yes the tube that the axle goes inside, thats what he is cutting to narrow it, the axles, you need to replace, cutting and welding one of those is a disaster waiting to happen

Lips are already rolled a bit, ill see how close it is, if they touch it will be barely. I don't want to cut more cause I want the stance as wide as I can make it within reason
are you going to powder coat anything or just do a nice black undercoating like the bottom of the bed?
Like the bed, thats how my whole diesel was. Rather not powder coat, I like a textured finish over a super smooth satin powder
