De-Redneckification of Mr Pate's 03 Duramax

Bfg all terrains come in 33x12.50 and 35x12.50-16.5

Iroks in 36x13.50 and 37x14.50

SSR in a few good sizes, 33 and 35-12.50 and 33 and 35-14.50 and 38-15.50

boggers are the best with 33x14.00, 35x14.50, and 36x16.00, plus a ton more other sizes

tsl sx 33x15.50 and 35x15.50

35x14.50 thornbirds

so interco makes plenty of sizes, but not much luck getting any used ones that are any good, pretty much have to buy new

No military's for me, most are 37s from what I've seen

Would look funny because they're narrow enough as it is and they have absolutely no sidewall. Like a buckshot

Thanks man, hate that I have nothing
new to post but just waiting and saving for SAS parts. I am hoping that it'll get started here shortly
Gonna look bad ass when it's done especially when u slap the welds on it lol

I tryed to stretch a set of military tires on a set of 16.5 one time and they were 10 ply sidewall I had on the 16.5 rim had a hell of a time to try to get it to bead with the strecth on a 16.5 gave up Proally could have got it but it was one of the first set of tires I stretched years ago

I use a ball from chemical guys but its basically the same as mothers. But I a going to look into using a pad and bar compound.

By hand for me doesn't get rid of all the hard water marks.

I keep looking for used 16.5 tires daily. If not once the sas is done I'll probably end up buying some new.

Well ordered this in september and it ended up going to PR and finally arrive today.
