My old 1500hd had some issue with the passlock system where it would crank and crank but wouldn't start. Sometimes for 2 minutes sometimes for a half hour.
Does your security light come on at all when it doesn't start?

Could be battery cables. Not uncommon.

So the paint on this truck has needed some attention since i got it. Talked to a local dude about doing some correction but dont really have the $400 to blow right now for a full 3 step correction. Picked up a polisher from hf to clean up the paint a little bit before the meet next weekend. Havent polished anything since autobody class in highschool but it turned out decent for what im working with imo. Ive only done the hood and fenders so far but ill work on it a little over the next week and hopefully get it all done.
Couldnt get any great pictures with the lighting outside but the paint just had a bunch of water spots, what looked like overspray and some light scratches. Got most of it out on the first attempt but im gonna go over it all again.

That looks great dude! For a DD, I would say screw the 3 step correction. Just do that one more time and pick up some good ceramic coating and rock it

Thanks dude! If i can make it look as good as i want im not gonna mess with doing a full correction. Id like to have it resprayed in the next year or 2 if i can swing it.

Few updates..
Finally got a cai tube. Dennis picked up this airaid tube but it wouldn't work with his hybrid so i snagged it for mine.
Also snagged the helper kit off his truck since the bags on mine are dried out and cracked. Gonna try to throw them on over this next week.
Came across a good deal on some fender liners on amazon, so i ordered a set which should be here this week sometime.
Aaannndd i sold the escalade 22s Sunday. So the truck is back on the tahoe 20s for a little bit. Should have some new wheel updates soon.

Thanks bro. I really liked it on them too tbh but i had a specific look in mind for this truck when i got it and they just weren't quite the look i was after.Liked it on those caddy’s but I’m sure new setup will be fire

Bought James' concepts. Love the look. Still need to do a little trimming and make room for these 295/30s.
New fender liners should be here Monday but as of now im not sure how thats gonna go, as it is rubbing the driver side liner thats in there now. May find a way to trim it so that it wont rub but well just have to see.
Also gonna try to throw the helpers on tomorrow if i have time.
