thanks guys, it means alot, its about done looks wise too which was fun doing, bout ready to start with the drive terrain. anyone have info about raising the trans crossmember? i hit hard leaving my work over a couple speed bumps, and its only the trans crossmember.
Bohall was telling me about it ome day..iirc you grind the welds that run down it horizontally that hold the crossmember together then take it apart and trim off like 2" and weld it back together, he would have to explain it or maybe somebody else will chime in
well im trying to enter it into the truckin throwdown. i know its nothing special performance wise, just want to see how it compares
apparently im supposed to throw a big engine in it, or alot of boost without touching anything else then enter, i was under the impression it wasn't just about big power.
Yeah, unfortunately all of the trucks they do pick are pushing some huge numbers though. It would be sick to get in sometime though.
thing is though there are still quite a few like this, im right behind him on the quarter mile with shitty gears and the shitty 5 speed with an open diff on a stock tune.
