I'd go jakes performance also. Coming from somebody that has an 80e, don't do it. You'll hate it unless you have a blower or 600+ rwhp. I'm gonna have to do a gear swap now just to make mine kinda of quick off the line again.

I think your problem lies less with the 80e and more with your gearing.
I have 4.88's. I Had 3.73, and it sucked.
I just worry about being in this position again down the road with a 60e.
It's going to be time for tires here probably end of summer. Will be going 37, and everytime I tow my boat, it is a constant steady up hill grade back from the river.
I'm worried less about racetruck performance, and more about reliability and longevity.
If I can't get another 100k out of this truck from either swap, I'm not doing it and I'll be down at the dealership signing on a new truck. I'm done dumping money in this thing.
