Why a bed rug when you already have a liner ? Just asking because I can't decide between the two.

Because I want to keep the liner nice as well as make it so when I put things in the back, they don't get scratched to shit by the liner, especially my bike.

Sent from pasta.

Been thinking about doing the same thing Alec. Post up in here if you find a good deal on some. I'll make you a hell of a deal on a bed cover if you ever come up this way.

It was chrome then they switched to PVD on their novakanes

ah gotcha.

downpipe should be here this week, so will put on friday if i'm off or saturday

also got quote from my buddy to colormatch mirrors, sharkfin antenna, tailgate handle and bezel, and hood trim, will happen after the first of the year when i get sound deadener since i have to drop the headliner to get antenna off

So how was the install?

Do they swing all the way out, or do they hit your tailgate cables?

install was super simple, just marked the holes after making sure they were level, then screwed bracket in with supplied hardware. I'll get you pictures when i go on my lunch break in 30

Looks like a pretty good mod, are they totally secure when the tailgate is closed (i.e all bolts hidden)? Will be interested to see how they hold up.

sorta, in the first picture of them, those two bolts are still exposed, but you'd have to look directly down over the tailgate to see them. i need to take everything back off and put some rtv around the holes and whatnot. dont want water leaking between the bracket and behind the liner

I've always wanted to do boxes like that but could never find any that would clear a tonneau cover. Those certainly would though.

that's exactly why i wanted them.
