did you just paint over the chrome on the bumper? also whats all involved in taking the rear bumper apart?

i bought these

Painted White Rear Bumper Cap Set for 2007 2013 Silverado Sierra Pickup w O Hole | eBay

it was pretty simple:

remove top plastics and two bolts holding the center plastic in
then you will see 5 rivets on top each bumper cap. drill those out and the chrome peice came off
put white ones on with 1/4 screws and locknuts
reinstall plastics

i used this write up to help. you dont have to remove the center plastic though. you can pop it out enough to slide the cap in and out

Finally manage to wash it since getting the drop installed that I got from bayousam. I know my original plans were to lift but I couldn't resist the deal he had. I haven't had time to put my wheel liners back on

Finally got time to put my fender liners back on and install a rear handle on the front to eliminate the keyhole
