1999 GMC RCSB 4x4 Build..4/6, motor work and much more

Yes sir I believe so. Picked them up for a nice deal from a member (cant remember which forum) but he was going turbo. Already has a bung for a wideband as well.

Im running lpps on the tahoe and really had no issues. Had to grind the weight off the front of the shaft, but that was 4 years ago and not a problem. Could have just dented the pipe in a bit, but i didnt realize it until i backed out of the garage.

I don't get it. When we tried them on my buddy's 05, it was seriously like in the middle of the front shaft. Like 2" off. Denting wouldn't work. I just dented my CalSpeeds and they work. Seems to be hit or miss.

i've heard that before as well. Doesnt make much sense to me either. Hopefully I get lucky lol. Worst case I run without a front shaft for a bit, but that pretty much defeats the purpose of the build lol

Just found out the TBSS reps are 6-8 weeks out still. Dammit. Wont get them in time.

Ever put your Tcase back together and then remember the chain is sitting on the shelf? Dammit lol. Got really good at taking it apart and putting it togther.

Just have to do the wiring for the trans and run new fuel lines and the motor is ready to go back in.

haha ya it did. I had it open and closed 3 times. Could do it in about 5 minutes now lol.

got the leaf spring bolts cut out last night, have to finishing pushing out the old bushings tonight. Adding 1" lift shackles to level it out. The rear was super low, probably from old and worn out leaf springs. Hopefully going 4 link and coilovers next winter though.

Well wiring swap for the 4l80e is done, fan harness in, fuel pump in and wired with the hotwire kit. Tomorow night it all goes back in and starts getting hooked up. Front driveshaft and Magnaflow 18" 4"x9" 3" in/out is ordered. That should be the last of it. Just waiting on injectors and hopefully start it up next week. Also got the new leaf spring bushings in and shes sitting level.

O ya, I ordered those Texas edition 20s with Hankook RH06s in 275/45/20. Should be here next week. Fuck I hope im done ordering stuff....until the interior swap

Got the motor in on Friday night. Thats about where it sits now. Injectors should show up on Thursday, so ill spend the next few days getting everything hooked up.

Had to change the oil pressure sensor as my truck is wired for a 1 wire sensor and the motor had a newer style. No biggie once I found a socket big enough to get it out.

Also had to get a new neutral saftey switch. Realized it was broken as I was about to put it in. The little shit is killing me!

Muffler shower up, along with leaf spring bushings. Front shaft should be here tomorrow. New 02s are in as well. I think Thats everything. Wheels should be here by the end of the week I would think. Hope to be driving it by the weekend and get started on some tuning with Justin.

Pain in my ass. A new style plug was added at some point with a new fuel pump. My hotwire kit needed the old stock plug to work. Luckily I kept my pigtail from a pump swap 4 years ago.
