Did have a lil mishap tho, I bet one of the latches with a tire that was in the bed and rolled back. Since the latch is aluminum, all i did was take it off...put it on the vise and hammered it back into shape

As some of u know, i also picked up a set of declads....those will be going on soon too!

I test fitted one last night and it looks like Ive got to sand off the coating on the hub bore....I didnt think it would interfere, but it was a pain to get the wheel on/off...so I'll be sanding it off before I mount my tires.

I had also been chasing down a stupid noise in my front end...at first I thought it was a bj or something, turns out my pass side inner tie rod is worn so I ordered a reman AC Delco rack (Rockauto had best price @$158) but the noises wasnt when turning.

Pulled the wheel off, started wiggling shit n whatnot...turned out to be loose brake pads

Ive never replaced the shims in the 77k miles Ive owned it and lawd knows how many miles those shims had already on em...Ive just swapped pads n rompd since my rotors looked fine n never got steering wheel shakes when stopping. Well, turns out these things do wear out and will let the pads move around....no worries, I had the new ones from when I installed the current pads on there now. Slapped those on and noise is gone :datass:

so are inserts still same size? or now gotta be bigger?

Love my GM accessories tonneau. Not sure who makes it. Rolls up, bars are snapped onto the vinyl so they go too.

Sent from my igloo using Tapamoose eh.

I only have 3 bars in mine lol. You can probably lay on your tonneau and not go through.

Similar to this, but it's a snap on the end to remove the bars from the cover easily if you need to replace one.

My dad had his cover come off completely in the air dryer at the car wash, someone ran it over and bent the shit out of a bar. Was able to get another wrecked tonneau and just swap bars out.

Pretty sure they're floating around the $400 mark

i have that setup currently pat. just worn out.

Yeah they do wear the fuck out. It seems like the vinyl dries out in about 4 years time. Hopefully mine fucks up within comprehensive warranty of my vehicle lol. Get a new one :datass:

i had a similar cover too....3 cross bars but no velcro....it has a lip u tuck under the rail and it holds it in place....still has a latch by the tailgate too. WAY lighter
