White carbon fiber wrap for hood or no?

My hood is in desperate need of a new paint job and while I was out obtaining prices to get it painted, one of the sales associates asked why not wrap it? So I started thinking about it and now I cant decide if I paint it or wrap it...

The truck is Olympic White with esky handles, complete debadge/demold mod, painted bumpers, ect. Its almost a complete paint matched truck riding on mirror finished centerlines. Would a white carbon fiber wrap be an eye sore? or would it actually look decent? Should I just stick with a painted hood?

Opinions are appreciated. I want to make the right choice and do this once ( for once )! I googled some white carbon fiber wrap and it looks kinda cool, but not sure if it would throw me in the same boat with the poser dipper or ricers!

Yeah you have a point there! I think the way the hood flows to the side of the truck would be an eye sore.

Here is a extremely dirty pic of it. This is almost too embarrassing to post, but its the only one I have at work!

See if they have a wrap color as close to the color of your fenders as possible. That's the only way I'd do it

This imo. Too much of the hood shows on these to be a different color

You might be able to pull it off if you add some halos

White is cheap and easy to paint, why not just drop off the hood for paint to get you started?

:no: the only thing id ever wrap is my chrome bumpers, had a buddy have his done on a lml and it looks really good in person, and can peal off at anytime he wants the chrome back.

Painting it was what I originally wanted to do, then this guy got me all hyped up on the wrap.

Ill just drop it off to get painted! After really thinking about the carbon fiber wrap and a quick google search ill save the wrapping for the posers..

Good choice lol. The carbon fiber would get really dirty quickly also. I have my GMC emblem done with white CF and the little cross sections hold dirt like crazy. I couldn't imagine an entire hood.

Had mine wraped to cover peeling clear coat. Looks better imo
