Will I need to trim in order to run 305/50R20's on a NNBS with a 2.5" TGC level kit? Rims I want are 20x9 with a +1 offset.
Yes you'll trim plastic and possibly a small around of metal in the back

Damn, I don't really feel like dealing with that. Probably end up going a different route. Thanks though.Yes you'll trim plastic and possibly a small around of metal in the back

When he said metal I assumed he meant the nor-cal fender mod. Would that not be necessary with that combo? It'll take about 11.375 minutes to do it.

hey guys recent member here... just a quick question I have a 2013 GMC SIERRA SLE ext cab 4x4 and I am wanting to run Fuel Maverick 20x12 rims...33x12 tires ? just wondering if I can get away with a 3.5' level kit or would these rims need a full 6 inch lift for clearance / no rub issues ??? love the deep dish / lip look and I want to run it for the spring !!! thanks again any help or input would be much appreciated
Hey guys. New here. I just bought a 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT crew cab. I just ordered 295/60/20 nitto Terra grapplers with a 20x9 - 12 offset ballistic jester. I figured I would need a leveling kit so I also ordered a ready lift 2.5" will this fit without a crap ton of trimming?

Figured this is where this post belonged...
Noobie here and looking for some help.
I've researched this topic to death and keep finding conflicting results. Right now I've got a BDS 4" lift on my '11 silverado. Fender measurements are approximately 41.5" front, 43.25 rear. 305/55/20 tires (that I plan to keep).
This summer I plan on getting some bilstein adjustables to bring my front end up level with the rear, putting me at roughly 43.25" in the front (duh). I had originally planned to go 20x10 with a -12 offset but cannot decide on a wheel. I fell in love with the fuel octane and unfortunately the only 20" size they come in is 20x12 with -44.
Upon my research I've been able to gather that the popular combo x12s are on a 7" FTS or something similar with front measurements being somewhere around 47-48", which is out of my reach.
I understand the x12 with -44 is significantly wider and absolutely will not fit with only a level on my current set up. However, I have seen two trucks running only a 6" lift and running x12 octanes, one of which is a BDS (the other pro comp, which I think is similar in height), shown here **Wheel Offset 2008 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Super Aggressive 3 Suspension Lift 6 Custom Rims**
This truck really stumps me because the wheels don't even appear to be too far out of the fender, and I know that the BDS kits have roughly a 1.5" track width increase. I've read on a couple of different places that guys w/ the BDS 6" and 35's have fender measurements of around 44-45, so can I add a 1.25" RCX BL and expect to trim the plastic and call it a day (putting me at approximately 44.5)?
If the x12s won't look stupid I'm not opposed to the nor-cal fender mod to make them fit right. I don't know what it is about that truck that I posted but I love that stance..(I know the rear is a bit higher, but I'm not all that concerned about that).
Thanks for the help and I apologize if this topic has been beat to death.
I see no reason with a 6", x12's won't clear with a fender mod. I was planning on clearing them with a 5" and nor cal mod.
Does anyone know if 38X15.5X20 Kumho Road Venture MTs with -44offset and a 4.77inch back space will fit on a 1999 GMC Sierra 1500? The truck has a 6" tuff country lift. Currently I have 35X12.5X18 Toyo Open Country tires and have zero problems. Thanks for the help and advice. Also if anyone is interested the tires and rims would be for sell if the above set up works as is.
