Again, his DJM flip kit does not reuse stock u-bolts, it uses round u-bolts...
Gotcha, didn't read all of the posts  I just know my mcg kit didn't come with them

when i bought my mcg 4/6 kit, instrustions said reuse ubolts. Might come with them if purchased alone not sure.
pictures of yours? dont you kinda NEED round u bolts?
can already feel them blocks/u-bolts in my hands epper:
It would just require a saddle up there. Not unsafe, just not an optimal design.Square u bolts sounds kinda unsafe unless they have some other part that sits uptop of the axle
any tips on dealing with the torsion bars. this is my first truck with t-bars.
Only pic i have on le phone(before notch) ill try to get a better shot later.

They must have changed their design, you can see the saddle on the perch I mentioned earlier. With that setup you could just leave out that saddle, and go to round u-bolts if you wanted using the same u-bolt plate.
Rent/borrow a torsion bar tool if you can. MUCH safer than a 2 jaw puller (there is a divot in my concrete to prove it). Unbolt the stem on the front shocks before jacking the truck all the way up, believe it or not, they will top out before the suspension droops all the way. When you unload the bars, grab the end of the key and rock it back and forth to break it free of the bar, soak the ends in PB blaster, unless you live in a salty area it usually comes free easily, if not you can stick a socket in the hole on the back of the cross member and use a hammer to drive the bar forward. Ask any questions as you go along on here.

The auto zone, oreillys around here didn't have torsion bar tool so I rented a ball joint press tool and it worked just as good
Seemed to me you would use square ubolts since the top plate is flat.. so itd sit flat against it..
I used that just to get by the day the 2 jaw puller bent the lips on the crossmember and shot off. I ordered the torsion bar tool, I'll never do it any other way now.
This is how mine is (better pic)
