There was a built 5 speed for sale near me, but dude was asking $3500 lol. That's my T56 for the truck, so I'd rather do that first.

Its always 3rd gear that f's up...do a loose surface launch, you'll be alright haha. Trust me. ;)

You also need to look into the kartboy short shifter and knob. the factory throw is about 3' long, you dont realize it until the SS is in. Its like oh my god, so much better. And for struts, look at like NASIOC for the brand they recommend, its like KYB or something like that. They make a really comfy adjustable shock/strut. Couple with the STi springs and you have win. Again, trust me on this one ;)
 
Yeah I was looking at the KYB adjustables which seem to have really good reviews. Will add the springs at the same time! And I like your suggestion on Flickr of painting these wheels gold. I think it'll look better considering I really dislike black lol.

And I like the throw as is right now, coming from a 5 speed truck. That thing is like rowing a boat. But I'll look into the short throw maybe for Xmas.
 
The kartboy kit isnt very expensive IIRC. Did poly bushings while we were at it, everyone who drove it was like good god, feels great!

I painted a set of stock WRX with the duplicolor high temp paint. Sanded them, stuck in the note cards ( oh yeah ) and away I went! the gold turned out awesome on them and it held up great, but they were still the ugly as hell stock wheels.

Nice, I'd have my dad clear them afterwards just to be safe lol. Definitely gonna look into that for the spring too.

Wasn't really concerned with plate, just felt like doing it for fun honestly. Dngaf if people find out where I live lol. And it's called a tripod. You didn't see pee wee int he vid? He made an appearance.
 
I dont plan on getting hammered, just a few brews being at your place. I wanna be respectful that you are letting me crash on the couch.
 
you can still be respectful and kill a 30, especially if your crashing on the couch can make sure you cleaned up any mess you made in the morning
