Carrying this over from the "other" forum...
Figured I'd have to start my own thread here since the new truck has been acquired.
Bought a 2012 Chevy Silverado 1500 LT, 6.2L w/ 6L80. Has the MAX Trailering package which consists of 3.73 positrack rear end with an HD rear axle, upgraded oil/transmission coolers, etc; Leather Buckets, Convenience Package, Bose, Bluetooth, Backup Sensors/Camera, small things like bed rail protectors, wheel well liners, and a pretty slick under seat storage organizer, etc. It is Summit White with Ebony leather interior.
Nothing crazy. We anticipated just buying a used NBS Silverado after we sold the Suburban, but after speaking with a friend of mine at GM, they were able to get me into a brand new 2012 for an extremely reasonable price. GM really took care of me on this one, even put those nice CK919 on Goodyear Fortera's on it for me.
Now, as far as mods go...

Tinted, Blackbear Tuned, BakFlip F1 Tonneau
PENDING:
*I have Corsa touring for it already. I just want to have the muffler back to the tip section of it powdercoated flat black, so that'll be a little bit before it's ready.
*Colormatched HD front end (hood, grill, bumper)
*Colormatched Rear bumper, mirrors, and tailgate handle
*Full Throttle Suspension 9" Lift, all black w/ white accents currently ordered, will be here next week.
*22x12 Black wheels (still deciding on wheels), rears will have the 1.5" spacers in back
*Toyo Mud Terrain 35x12.50x22
Then I'm just gonna ride out and enjoy her! Here are some pics...
