Static NNBS (GMT-900 07-13)

Either a set of the new factory 22s with a decent tire. I drive to much and take a lot of trips. And I don't have a good track record with 24s. So I guess I'll go to somthing that's harder to bend. :lol

Putting this here...

So I'm torn between a 275 45 20 and 285 50 20.

45s will have gap rather than the 50 which will have less gap.

50s will look a little sportier than the 45s.

45s won't have any rubbing, 50s might.

What would yall go with? Truck is still at 4/7 with stock Yukon Denali wheels. Guy I was supposed to trade wheels with backed out I guess, he hasn't responded to two of my texts. He had the ck375s I was hoping to get.

Any other tire suggestions I will gladly take into consideration. Also, thinking about going with nexen roadian tires. Seem to have mostly good reviews. I know Grandpa Toneh suggested proxes I or II, I don't remember. Refresh my memory Tony.

Coming from 275/45 back to 275/55 I hate how much it runs and scrapes. Yes the 45 will have gap but it never rubs or scrapes. 50 might be a happy middle

I have the proxes I and really like them. We sell the shit out of the proxes II at work. Personally I'd do the 285/50s :imo: It might rub a little but shouldn't be too bad.

Really whished more manufacturers made a 275/50-20.

Don't mind the 265/55 size. I think the 275/50 would be a good medium for these trucks with the same drop. But they don't make that size, obviously. I found a couple pics of the 285s with my specific application and filled the fenders nicely. Then I looked up 265/50 and saw this

I love how they look but I would have to go lower at least 1-1 1/2" to run them. Personal choice.

Tony, do you like having directional tires? I try to stay away from them cause I don't like to not be able to rotate them the way I've always done it. But I'll probably have to go that route. How do yours handle in rain and dry roads? Do they hook well?

Read somewhere that the TBSS guys love the Prada Spec-x's. I don't think they're directional either. Mixed reviews when I Google them.

Found this truck with 285s

I think 285s might be the one. Anyone know the owner or know if he's still on forums?

They ride great and wet weather traction is awesome, the only thing I don't like about them is not being able to rotate them properly but I'll take it over the performance of non directionals. That truck looks perfect with the 285s, the single cab with the 265s look too small :imo:

Paradas are directional also.

Interesting. What about in dry conditions? How do they handle?

Liked it so much, it's my wallpaper
No issues, really happy with them.
That's good to hear. Now I'm just trying to find the right deal that includes road hazard. EBay will be my last resort.

And also I have the single can on 26s on air I'll have back soon. So I was thinking a 22 with a tire to pull trailers and drive to ranch ext.

I'm a fan of 22's with a little extra tire. Our roads here are so terrible Im weary of ever going 24's here in Shreveport.
