Sup guys, after seeing wickeds bag build I got the bug...again. Had a couple of bagged s10s back in the day when I had no fab skills, now I'm a welder and have way more flexibility now with this build. This is my daily but I do have a weekend cruiser if I need to leave the truck down for a day or 2, hence the slow build. My plans for setup are as follows, if anyone has any suggestions/opinions on something I should do different please feel free

REAR
KP 6 link with watts and qa1 singles
Dominator 2600s - received
KP step notch

FRONT
ridetech upper and lower arms (modified lowers) - done
Dominator 2500s - received
KP upper cups (planning on plating the frame inside of the coil tower to hopefully prevent tearing the frame, if anyone has a better method please let me know) - received
KP weld in shock relocators with qa1 singles - received

AIR
Accuair elevel with rocker switch(not planning on playing very much) - received
VU4 - received
KP 7 gal tank - switched to dual 5 gal aluminum tanks
Dual viair 400s - received
3/8 line - received

Here's how she sits as of right now, ridetech coilovers, mcg 16+, belltech flip, ~5/6 drop

Hoping the wheels won't be a problem after baggin, they are 22x9 +22 right now with ~5" drop up front they aren't a problem.

Just got through modding the ridetech lower arms today. Bought them used and were built for shockwaves/coilovers, so I just plated the tops with 1/4". Probably gonna end up cutting an access hole in the original plate to get to the lower bag bolt.

Close up of welds...not your traditional stack of dimes look, where I work stack of dimes doesnt necessarily make it a nice weld. Toes nice and straight with proper fusion to the base material is a nice weld to me. This was done with a miller synchrowave ~175 amps with 1/16" 70s-2 filler wire.

Damn, never seen that happen on a street truck before. For some reason I remember seeing the t-bars at vatozone a while back.

In for more pics of the build, those welds are NICE.

Ok so I just got my kp front cups in, but I'm in a dilemma now. hopefully someone can steer me in the right direction. I've just found out that specialty suspension came out with an upper bracket kit that raises the uppers 1.5". So if anyone could tell me wether this kit is worth it or if I should just stick with cups. I'm looking for the best geometry possible, good camber and the least amount of bumpsteer. I will be running art arms and mcG 16+ spindles. If I read tukin's front suspension geometry thread correctly it says raising the uppers too much will cause bad handling. So I'm not too sure if this kit will help or hurt. Any help would be appreciated, thanks

If your already running 16+ spindels or have them ,don't buy the 1.5" upper kit. It will be to much. If you had 17+ go with the new kit ,but still cheaper to go with a 16+,given that bracket is 350+ship
