shocks without a sleeve

For whatever reason, the Sensatrac shocks I got did not come with the metal sleeves, anyone foresee an issue? Both previous sets have them :uhoh:

Metal sleeve? Like a rubber boot but metal? If you're worried about the shock shaft being exposed, don't be. Never had issues with this on any vehicle/atv/snowmobile.

Belltech has note in box that says remove metal sleeve if it touches anything so I dont see a problem either...

You do not need the sleeves, especially in your climate

not a big deal, i ran without them in jersey for years without issue, i put rubber boots on mine this time, just because even though they hold in moisture.

Prolly not a big deal. Worst that could happen is rock/debris flinging up and dinging the shaft.

No no no, you all are misunderstanding what I meant, the metal sleeve that goes into the eye of the shock where the bolt goes through.

ive had sets with and without sleeves inside the bushing. as long as the bolt is snug inside the bushing, youll be fine

OO the sleeve in the bushing. The bolt will wear through that and cause a clunk at some point. You cna install for now, but it needs to be sleeved

If bolt is threaded all the way through then it can wear it out, but if its not ur fine.
