RCSB Derpamax Build

Will do. My hideaway plate I bought was on a key fob. I'd rather have it wired to a switch or the ignition.

My carpet I ordered will be here Fria day

Agreed. I had vinyl in my OBS and it was a pita to clean the way it was textured. Would rather have carpet and nice mats.

First thing I did when I bought the Sierra was order OEM carpet and ditched the vinyl flooring

Sent from my igloo using my SGS4 eh.

Throttle position sensor went in the acceleration pedal yesterday so I was driving around in limp mode clearing the code so I could drive around more than 28mph. Replaced the pedal today, changed the oil, and built myself an incognito winter front since a 2500HD front won't fit my truck since I raised the bumper up.

Used cardboard, covered it it 8oz filter fabric I use behind boulder walls so it blends in. Truck actually gets up past 160 degrees now :corny:

Installing winter grill today. They are a life saver for diesels.

Corny, you remove fan during winter months?

Got the new interior in for the most part to the point where I could do some testing since my harness came out of a 2004 Z71 suburban.

-lights work, signals work, windows roll up and down, and heater and a/c controls work how they should.

-power seats aren't working. don't know what the deal is there.

-my tapshifter wires are shot. they are litterally worn through and when I pulled the steering column I found out why I had to pull back on the shifter to get it into tow/haul.

I was hoping it was going to be plug and play but that's not the case. I don't have any communication with the vehicle via the obd2 port. The suburbans harness is a little bit different than the LBZ harness so I think its going to have to come back out and either I modify it or I send it to Ben Tyler. I tried calling him earlier today. Wiring isn't really my forte' and I'd rather have someone that knows what the hell they are doing tackle the job.

Wanted to get it back together tonight but I need to talk to someone who is more intelligent than I when it comes to wiring.

Also I need to look at some diagrams to see what is all different for the pigtail going to the ECU, that seems to be the big problem, otherwise :corny:

Started trimming out the new carpet though. It looks realllllll nice CLARK.

Yeah 03+ everything runs through the BCM. You may have to get it reprogrammed for the power seats.

For example, if I wanted to add power everything to my truck, I'd need a new dash harness and a new BCM that's programmed for power options because I have none.
