Post the Truck you just cant quit looking at:

I know a lot of you rip Plasti Dip but the stuff has come a long way and I will be using it on my truck. The new top coats work as a clear and the colours with the pearls have serious depth. I Just can't decide which of the below colours (I added the vid's with the walk arounds as the photo's do not do the product justice!).

It is going be $900US to dip entire ECSB. This will apply 10 coats all around (required for depth), and will cover everything inclusive of doors, door jams, inner box and inner fenders. Only thing I am not going to do is the underside of the box as I see it will be a royal PITA to remove.

Sorry, to be clear, $900 is for product only, I will be spraying myself and will be purchasing extra to allow myself to dial in the sprayer.

I've tossed around the idea of doing mine. My paint is in rough shape and it would be cool to change it up for a while imo. Would definitely do a glossy pearl color though. Dnw flat color. That first blue is sick

I love that mustang blue. However I'm pretty sure those pics have edited pretty well cause in both videos the gloss isn't near as much as the pictures. The pictures look like a legit paint job. The videos look like semigloss. Something is dull about it.still thought plasti is very impressive and has come a long way

It would be cool but it's still not worth 900 to me. Guy in the building next to ours dipped his brand new, lifted 2015 F150 flat black and within 3 months the doors were worn bad where you always put your hands to close then. And a couple spots on the handles chipped so he peeled the handles after about 5 months. Now the front end is starting to wear away so he's gonna havta redo it or strip it before a year
