Some may have seen in the other thread, but I suprised my wife with a new Family hauler on Xmas day.

2013 Ford Flex Limited Ecoboot AWD

Fully loaded. 4 sunroofs, power rear hatch, power folding seats, heated and ACseats, Ford mytouch, Rear DVD, Radar Crusie control, Self park, proximity warning etc etc. There kind of an acquired taste on the styling. But we both dig it. When looking at 6/7 passenger vehicles, theres alot of really gay shit, big suvs etc. Thought about a yukon, but I really dont like the nnbs styling, plus the interiors are dogshit, so it got ruled out quick

Definetly the NICEST car I have ever owned, as odd as that may sounds. Its interior luxury is right on par with any high end car, but in retrospect it is a 58000$ vehicle.

Its only 6 months old since its build date, and has 12,000km.

Got it and immedately lowered it on HR springs, Debadged, and loaded it with weather tech mats. Thats gonna be it for now till spring. Spring Im going to paint mirror caps gloss black, and painted the chrome window trim gloss black too. Also palnning on shaving ford badge and half painting the Limited Tailgate fascia

Havent decided %100 percent yet on summer wheels. Gonna be 22" for sure, Most likely Vossen CV3 is graphite, but havent decided to to do staggard rear or not. Would have to run strech tires on rear. Well have to see where i go from there

4 sun roofs?! Damn haha. Too boxy for my liking but I'm sure it'll serve its purpose well.

Love these cars. I drove an ecoboost one when I worked at Ford and got it to do a four wheel powerslide out of a U-turn on dry pavement :driver:

I live right off of i95 and I see them all the time from NY and NJ. One was all black, almost tucking tire. Looked baller as fuck.

I'm kind of torn here, these cars don't do much for me styling wise but you make everything so clean I will probably like yours. Interior looks sweet though. What happened to the Subi?

So a fully loaded flex is $58K? Lol wtf. I hope that is some sort of crazy importation tax. While I like flex's, would much rather have a loaded GX or Premium TDI Q7 or Cayenne diesel for that kind of coin.

I own a repair shop....wouldn't touch a vw product with a 10 foot pole. And to be honest, sit in a q7 and see/use the tech, then sit in a limited flex....u would argue the flex having a better interior and tech package, FYI a tech line q7 is 84000

It's not gonna be a very crazy "build" but just a few things yo make it took like I think it should, but so far lovig it.

I know a cayenne can go up to 110k. I can't imagine having a window from 58k to 110k. Don't think vw cars are good quality when they're new Brandon? I know now that mine is 10 yr old they can have some problems but I thought they were pretty good new.

Im complete agree Volkswagen makes nice cars, great design and decent interiors. Everytime a CC comes into the shop I dream of accuair and 22's lol

However long term repair....iud rahter not. You had the right idea leasing it

Yeah I heard that. I was gonna do coilovers on it until I bought the C10. Since I leased the vw it squashed what I was upside down on with my TBSS. And 3 years of free maintenance on top of that.
