Photography Thread

Here's some from today. We went to the gardens at school for photography class with out self-made filters. I didn't bother to use the filters as I am getting used to the D3100 still.

how are you liking the d3100. same camera i have. i have yet to mess around with it much.

So far it is leaps and bounds ahead of the camera I was using before. A lot more setting for me to mess with and get used to.

It's a pretty easy camera to hold and use, though if you have large hands it is on the small side I would say.

Took these earlier today, still getting used to the camera. Only thing I did was straighten the pics if needed and slightly adjusted levels/contrast/color.

I still have a lot to learn. Got a 55-200 lens for xmas for the camera which I have to use a bit more, but I like it so far. I also want to get a smaller lens, but that will wait a few months. Need to watch a bunch more tutorials about Photoshop editing but I get by for now.

Using these pics, about 20 in total for my final project in my class. Making a photo book out of them, then giving it to my mom for xmas. Two for one ftw.

I'll add a few in here, Let me know what you guys think, all are taken with a Kodak point and shoot digital, that's what I keep in my truck for when I need a camera.
most of these are from earlier this year...

Thanks a lot dude!

Been trying different things lately and have been learning a lot. Flickr is awesome imo, I can check the exif info for pics I like and see how it was taken...great learning tool for different settings.

I need to get my Flickr going lol.

Shit's looking good! I'm gonna try and find some of my more recent photos and post them up.

Yeah geoff it is super convenient.
